product now supports Brooktrout Technology's TR1000® Series
high density media processing platform. Using the Brooktrout Technology
platform, Copia's FaxFacts continues to provide high-end faxing
and voice software solutions to larger corporation, call centers
and service bureaus.
FaxFacts comprises a family of enhanced fax software
applications designed to keep facsimile communication current and
effective for business. It sets up outbound and inbound faxing from
networked workstations. Users can have incoming faxes directed to
a printer, mailbox or email address. Copia's outbound fax broadcasting
is a powerful T1 and PRI digital communication solution. Large corporations,
call centers and service bureaus appreciate the ease of high-volume,
production faxing especially using Copia's mail merge to fax technology
that offers reliable, high-performance delivery of thousands of
personalized faxes. In addition, the FaxFacts voice solution allows
users to automatically broadcast a voice message at a predetermined
time to a list of telephone numbers. This option can be used as
a voice notification for appointment reminders, catalog orders or
survey information.
The TR1000 P24V24F, a PCI-based fax and voice board,
provides 24 channels of intelligent fax and half-duplex voice in
a single PCI slot with integrated T1 network interfaces, allowing
service providers and large enterprises to deploy large-scale enhanced
fax services and LAN fax applications. The TR1000, a member of Brooktrout
Technology's TRxStream™ Series, supports Windows NT, UnixWare,
Solaris and Linux operating systems. The TRxStream platform is based
on a common architecture that scales from high-capacity service
provider requirements down to the lower-density requirements of
the enterprise and workgroup markets. The TR1000 uses the same industry
leading Bfv API as Brooktrout Technology's market-leading TR114®
Series, so applications written to the TR114 are easily portable
to the TR1000.
