Copia Now Offers ThruFax IntelliRoute As Their Inbound Routing
Solution
We can now offer small and medium size companies an economical
and reliable fax routing method!
PRESS RELEASE
Naperville, IL Immediate Release -- Copia expands their
electronic inbound fax routing options to include Onset Technology's
ThruFax product.
'We've always been able to route our faxes using DID, DTMF, manually,
or by allowing users to hook in a custom routing packages. Now with
ThruFax we have a simpler, more reliable solution to recommend
to users of our fax server, FaxFacts®. Not only can ThruFax
route faxes by interpreting the TO: address line, but it even routes
faxes to multiple recipients using the CC: address line", says
Dorothy Gaden-Flanagan, VP of Marketing for Copia. "It also
resolves the privacy issue by routing faxes to recipients only when
the recipient can be absolutely determined. A catch-all e-mail box
or client can be designated to receive any faxes it can't route."
ThruFax analyzes incoming faxes and automatically routes
them to their intended recipients. It uses IntelliRoute technology
to scan addressing lines to determine the intended recipients. It
then generates an e-mail message to the correct recipient and attaches
the fax image and OCR'ed fax text. With unidentifiable faxes, ThruFax
automatically prints the faxes, provides manual routing, or sends
faxes as e-mail to a default recipient for forwarding. The fax image
attachments are multi-page .dcx or .tif files that may be viewed
with Copia's FaxFacts® Fax Viewer. ThruFaxä installs on
a client machine or a network server.
With ThruFax, Copia can now offer small and medium size companies
an economical and reliable fax routing method. Other solutions,
such as DID (Direct Inward Dial), are more expensive and more complicated,
since a block of telephone numbers must be obtained from the telephone
company and assigned to individual employees. DTMF requires the
sender to enter a "fax extension" number to route the
fax. Both solutions require the sender to know the recipient's individual
fax number as opposed to a central fax number. ThruFax uses
routing information normally sent with the fax and requires no additional
effort by the sender.
Pricing starts from $675 for 10 users.
