Copia Announces WorldFax
Circumvent costly and sometimes inefficient foreign phone companies

Wheaton, IL -- March, 1997 -- Copia International,
premier provider of fax solutions, has come up with a neat way to
circumvent costly and sometimes inefficient foreign phone companies
by polling for foreign faxes on a US phone call. Teaming their FaxFacts
software with Cardiff Software's TELEform(tm), Copia has
developed WorldFax, a fax callback system triggered without
voice or keypad interaction that polls (when prompted) foreign sites
for fax transmissions. As FaxFacts pulls the fax through,
Cardiff's TELEform character recognition software "reads"
the fax's destination from the first page of the fax and delivers
the remaining pages to the destination fax machine. The fax transmission
itself is accomplished using Brooktrout Technology's TR114 Series
of high-density Universal Port boards.
