Naperville, IL Immediate Release -- Copia International,
Ltd., today announced that its product, FaxFacts® Fax Server
for Windows NT, now integrates with TeleVantage® Phone System
by Artisoft®.
Copia's FaxFacts, LAN Fax Server product is now available for users
who are planning to use the TeleVantage Telephone System. When combined,
the FaxFacts and TeleVantage products provide an Intelligent Phone
System that covers BOTH your telephone and faxing needs.
Steve Hersee, President of Copia said, "I see the same transition in phone
systems that has occurred in the word processor world. Word processors
went from special hardware to a general PC platform with standard
components." By using the Windows NT Server platform for both
the telephone system and the LAN fax system, the customer has a
'standard' platform, with the value added by Copia and Artisoft
through their software".
With FaxFacts and TeleVantage, the customer has an "industry
standard" system built on Dialogic hardware and Windows NT
platform software. On top of this platform Copia has built their
FaxFacts LAN Fax Server. The FaxFacts system is best known for its
Mail Merge to Fax, and high volume fax broadcasting (Fax Blasting).
Since both products integrate with Goldmine, ACT, and the Outlook
contact managers, early interest is expected to come from those
companies that are focused on improving sales. By adding TeleVantage
and FaxFacts, the company gains:
- Inbound "Screen Pops" to identify the inbound caller.
- Outbound dial from the Contact manager.
- Faxing to a single contact.
