Specify Image Information Costs

$credit_cost cost speak-cost


This command must be added to each fax-on-demand infobox information file that references information for which a credit card charge is to be made. The costs of each selected document are added up to form a total cost for the transaction. This total cost may also be included on the cover sheet when you fax the information to the caller, using the system variable @TCOST.

The parameters on this command are used as follows:

cost the amount to be paid for the document, normally a number with two decimal places (e.g. dollars and cents) to match the format expected by the default amount playback file. By re-recording the amount playback file you can change the description of the amount, e.g. to pounds and pence.
speak_cost a yes/no code as follows:
Y speak the cost to the caller.
N do not speak the cost to the caller.

Default: none (no charge for this information)

Example:

$credit_cost 11.50 Y
