Suppress MBX file Updating
$no_mbx_update
This command suppresses the updating of the MBX file after having received an inbound fax for its mailbox. It is designed for high-volume inbound fax applications and avoids possible contention in cases where a mailbox can receive faxes concurrently on multiple lines.
This command has no parameters.
It should not be used in legacy fax mail store-and-forward applications because the counts and dates in the MBX are of course not updated.
Example:
$no_mbx_update ; suppress updating of MBX
