$owner_specify [UJP]

Specify whether Owner is used to identify a job

$owner_specify action


This command may be used in the system job properties file SYSTEM.UJP. It specifies how jobs are defined in the hierarchy OWNER/JOBTYPE.

Currently only the 'always' keyword can be used.

The parameter on this command is used as follows:

action the validation action required for a job specification, as follows:
always an owner must be specified for every job. This is the default.
never an owner must never be specified; all jobs are treated as having no owner
optional an owner may be specified for a job, but some jobs may be left with no owner

Default: always

Example:

$owner_specify never
