Record Selected Image Description

$credit_desc desc

This command is used to record the descriptions of each selected fax-on-demand item which had a $credit_desc entry in the corresponding .IIF file. The data is recorded automatically by CopiaFacts when the FS file is created for the callback.

If any items have a description, multiple commands matching the number of files will appear in the FS file. If the file did not have a description in the .IIF file, the description will appear here as "#" so that the correspondence between files and descriptions can be maintained. If no items have a description, no records will be included in the FS file.

The system variables @CRDESC and @CRNDESC will have the descriptions for printing on the cover sheet. You may include one of these variables multiple times in the cover sheet template and it will expand to each description in turn. The @CRDESC variable only expands to values of actual descriptions, whereas the @CRNDESC variable expands to either the description, or the requested image number if there is no description.

The parameter on this command is used as follows:

desc description of the item.

Example:

$credit_desc "Hottest Stock Market Tips"
