Specify Size of generated Job Numbers
$job_digits size
This command determines the number of digits in generated job numbers. It must be placed in the SYSTEM.UJP file, and should preferably not be changed after system installation. If you change this setting, finding and sorting jobs may be affected.
The parameter on this command is used as follows:
| size | The number of digits required, from 5 to 8 inclusive |
Note that this command must be manually added to SYSTEM.UJP and is not available for modification in JOBADMIN.
Default: 5 (for example instance JOB00123)

$job_digits 6
