Set the Special Character for macros (variables)
$macro_char char [email_char]
This command sets a special character to be used instead of '@' in commands and text files to signify a variable name or macro name. You may wish to change this if your text files frequently contain such elements as e-mail addresses. The second parameter can be used to change the default of ` (accent grave) which applies to all $email_... commands.
The parameters on this command are used as follows:
| char | one of the characters ` ~ # % ^ & | @ |
| email_char | one of the characters ` ~ # % ^ & | @ |
You should not add this command to an established CopiaFacts system without careful planning. All existing CopiaFacts command files (such as CFG, USR, FS and IIF files) may need to be edited to change any existing uses of the standard '@' character. The macro character is used not only by the main COPIAFACTS program but also by many other utilities (such as FFBC, JOBADMIN, etc).
Defaults: @ and ` respectively.
Example:
$macro_char ^
