When a negative value is returned directly by CVSINGLE, for MS-Office or Acrobat/Adobe conversions, it has the following significance:
-1 Failed to set up shared memory with FFCVRT printer
-2 Unable to control FFCVRT printer
-3 Source document not found
-4 Cannot process PDF (is Acrobat or Acrobat Reader present?)
-5 Cannot process DOC/RTF (is Word installed?)
-6 Cannot process XLS (is Excel installed?)
-7 Cannot process PPT (is Powerpoint installed?)
-8 Cannot process image (is Windows Imaging installed?)
-9 Timeout or failure to complete printing to FFCVRT
-10 Web document not found
-11 DOC/RTF is neither a valid Word document nor RTF (see below)
-13 Later version of caller (FFEXTERN or CVSINGLE) needed
-14 Cannot process with Star Office (is it installed?)
-15 HTTP or FTP download failed, no document to process
-17 Cannot determine a conversion method
The following errors are returned from Ghostscript conversions:
-1 Failed to load the Ghostscript DLL
-2 Ghostscript DLL does not contain expected functions
-3 HKLM\Software AFPL Ghostscript
and HKLM\Software Aladdin Ghostscript missing
-4 DLL/Library obtained from Ghostsript registry not found
-9 Exception in Ghostscript DLL
-11 Cannot open input file
-12 Cannot read input file
-13 Cannot read input file
-14 Cannot read input file
-15 Cannot obtain Ghostscript version
-16 Error while running Ghostscript
-17 Cannot rotate landscape Ghostscript output
FFTRACE will collect and display/record the above errors in the trace file.
When CVSINGLE is called from FFEXTERN the following additional error codes may be reported:
-100 No pages converted
-101 CVSINGLE command line syntax error
-102 Multiple instances of CVSINGLE detected
-113 Exception during conversion setup
-116 Version mismatch, CVSINGLE and FFEXTERN
-118 Temp folder invalid or missing
-119 Move from temp folder failed
-120 Timeout on spawn of CVSINGLE
-121 Failed to terminate CVSINGLE after timeout
-122 Unable to monitor CVSINGLE

Document Conversion error -11: By default, CopiaFacts only converts .DOC and .RTF files which either start with the Word 'magic number' or with "{\rtf". To override this to convert other formats supported by Word, add a value "OverrideDocCheck=1" to the [FXCVRT] section in COPIFACTS.INI. With this value specified, specifying as DOC a format unknown to Word can result in huge numbers of output pages - use at your own risk!
Error values returned from F7GCOVER when called from GCSINGLE are shown in { } brackets in the CopiaFacts engine error list along with their corresponding run-time error values.
