The following codes are returned in the JOB_ERROR system variable when you process the job creation and selection states with pre-assigned variable values:

| 2 | Owner number and Jobtype required to create job instance |
| 3 | Cannot check lists for non-existent job instance |
| 4 | Unable to update job instance with selected lists |
| 5 | Cannot get documents for non-existent job |
| 6 | Cannot set job instance status |
| 7 | Cannot validate job instance without an owner name |
| 8 | Job Instance is not owned by specified owner |
| 9 | Specified job instance properties file cannot be loaded |
| 10 | Cannot get lists for non-existent job instance |
| 12 | Cannot find created job instance properties |
| 13 | Cannot check lists for non-existent job instance |
| 14 | Cannot perform action without selecting job instance |
| <0 | Error returned from action processing |
