Archive Broadcast Job Files

JOBZIP [-nd] jobfile|jobid

This program archives all files associated with an individual job into a ZIP file. The output file name is the same as the given job instance file but with extension .ZIP. The files are deleted after archiving.

If the parameter is given as a job ID number (and if Job ID is specified as being unique within the system) then the program searches for the Job ID. In this case the output file is placed in the ZIPS directory under the defined USERJOBS directory for the system.

The -nd parameter causes the files to be zipped but not deleted.

The broadcast lists are NOT included in the ZIP. However the broadcast document IS included, provided that it has been faxed in and is in a directory containing 'TEMP' in its pathname.

This program is normally invoked automatically by JOBCONS, but can also be run as an end-job-task, from JOBADMIN (right-click menu) or independently from a console session.

Example:

JOBZIP @FFJOBS\Steve\NO_JTYPE\JOB00123.UJP
