The following standard voice prompt messages are pre-recorded for you to use. The default filenames are now SVPn.VOX where n is the message number (without any leading zeros). For Dialogic boards under Windows NT, the filename SVPn.WAV will take priority, if found. The older filename for standard voice prompts, FAXMSG.n where n is the message number, may also be used, but is now obsolescent. The files are normally kept in the \FAXFACTS\STDVOICE folder.

The information shown in {} brackets is the number and name of the state(s) in which the message is played. See Appendix C: State Table. It may be convenient to reference this number on a $next_box command when you want to transfer to play a particular message, although not all messages can be selected in this way.

Use the CopiaFacts Recording Studio feature to record and playback custom versions of the messages listed below. This is normally done in the \FAXFACTS\VOICEWRK\SYSTEM directory. When you have made your own custom messages, either copy them over the provided files in \FAXFACTS\STDVOICE, or place them in \FAXFACTS\VOICE and refer to this directory on the $vmsg_dir command in your user profile.

To suppress any message, copy EMPTY.VOX or EMPTY.WAV over the standard voice prompt file. For the specific messages noted below, you can also delete the file to cause the prompt to be skipped. In the case of standard voice prompts 29 and 34, the file as installed is named named SVP29FULL or SVP34FULL, because it is usual to skip these prompts. Simply rename these files omitting the "FULL" to cause the prompt to be played.

1	Welcome to the CopiaFacts demonstration system.

{S2- GREET} Greeting message played when CopiaFacts answers a call, or after the SDID option has been selected. For fax mail operations, standard voice prompt 29 is played instead of this message.

2	Please enter your password now.

{S3 - DO_PASSWORD} Asks caller for an ID entry, if $caller_id has been specified in the user profile.

3	The password you entered was incorrect.

{S3 - DO_PASSWORD} Rejects an invalid caller ID entry, if $caller_id has been specified in the user profile.

4	Please enter the number of the image you wish to receive.

{S6 - DO_NEXT_IMAGE} The main prompt for document selection.

5	The image or menu selection was incorrect, please try again.

{S6 - DO_NEXT_IMAGE / S31 - DO_MENU} Rejects the document selection if the infobox can not be found or is invalid.

6	Press 1 to receive this information, or 0 to skip it.

{S10 - DO_IMAGE_OK} Asks for confirmation following the playing of either an image description or the digits of the infobox number. [Note: for all "1/0" selections, a 1 or a 9 indicate "yes", and a 0 or a 2 indicate "no".]

7	Press 0 to receive your information now, or 1 to request additional information.

{S7 - LOOP_RETURN} Asks if selection is complete, when the $max_image or $max_request count has not yet been reached.

8	Please enter your regular telephone number with area code and extension. This is NOT your fax number, but a number where you can be reached.

{S14 - DO_CALLER_PHONE} Asks caller for a telephone number, if $caller_phone has been specified in the user profile.

9	Press the Start or manual receive button at your fax machine, at the sound of the beep.

{S21 - START_FAX} Prompts the caller to start the fax machine to receive a one-call fax transmission. Normally, this requires a "manual receive", but if polling has been specified for the line in the configuratorm then this message may also need to refer to starting a "poll" operation.

(beep)

No message is needed here as the beep is generated internally. You may, if you wish, record some sound to replace the beep code such as a bell, horn, or other sound, and if a SVP10 or FAXMSG.10 file is found it will replace the generated beep tone.

11	Press 1 to receive your images in fine transmission mode.

{S38 - DO_IMAGE_RES} Asks for the required transmission mode, when $image_res user has been specified in the user profile. It is recommended that you do not use this feature as it may result in lower quality faxes than sending the documents in the resolution of the image file.

12	Press 1 to leave a recorded message and begin speaking at the sound of the tone. Press any key to stop recording.

{S19 - DO_RECRD_MSG} Prompts the caller to leave a spoken message, when $rcrd_msg has been specified in the user profile, or when you use $repeat_msg to transfer to state 40 after processing a "problem call".

13	Press 1, if the phone number you entered was correct or press 0 to re-enter it.

{S14 - DO_CALLER_PHONE} Asks for confirmation of the entered telephone number, after speaking the digits back to the caller.

14	(message number not in use)

15	The call number you entered was incorrect. Please try again.

{S170 - VMSG_DO_CALLNO} Rejects the call number entered during playback of voice messages

16	The image you selected requires a password, please enter it now.

{S43 - DO_IMGPWD} Asks the caller for an individual document password, when $image_password has been specified in the .IIF file.

17	The password you entered was incorrect, please try again.

{S43 - DO_IMGPWD} Rejects an individual document password entry, when $image_password has been specified in the .IIF file.

18	Press 1 if you are calling from your fax machine, or 0 if you are not.

{S48 - DO_AT_FAX} Asks the caller for the transmission method (one-call or callback), when both onecall and request have been specified in the $user_op command in the user profile (or when no $user_op command has been used and both operation modes are valid for the line).

19	Please enter a routing or telephone number extension to be used to identify your fax request. To skip press #.

{S55 - DO_ROUTE_TO} Asks the caller for a routing identification, when $cover_sheet has been specified in the user profile without a 'N' flag. If the 'A' flag has been used on this command to specify alpha entry, you should modify this standard message. When the @ROUTETO system variable has already been assigned a value (either from $caller_id or using $set_var or $get_var), this message will be skipped.

20	If the routing information you entered is correct press 1, otherwise press 0.

{S55 - DO_ROUTE_TO} Asks the caller for confirmation of the routing identification, after speaking the digits back to the caller, when $cover_sheet has been specified in the user profile without a 'N' flag. If the 'A' flag has been used on this command to specify alpha entry, you should modify this standard message.

21	Enter the area code and telephone number of the fax machine to which the information is to be sent.

{S50 - DO_FAX_NUMBER} Asks for the fax telephone number to which CopiaFacts will send a callback fax. When the @RCVRFAX system variable has been assigned a value (either from $caller_id or using $set_var or $get_var), this message will be skipped.

22	Press 1 if the fax machine number you entered was correct, press 0 if it was not.

{S50 - DO_FAX_NUMBER} Asks for confirmation of the fax telephone number to which CopiaFacts will send a callback fax, after speaking the digits back to the caller.

23	The area code you entered is restricted, please hang up and call from your fax machine.

{S64 - PLAY_NO_SERVICE} Rejects the entered fax phone number based on the $phone_mask lines in the user profile, if any, and the $phone_mask lines in the configuration file. If your system does not allow the option of one-call transmission, you should remove the reference in the standard message to calling again from the fax machine.

24	You must call from your fax machine to request this information.

{S61 - PLAY_NO_CALLBK} Rejects a document selection, when $nocallback has been specified in the IIF.

25	The requested information is on its way, thank you for calling CopiaFacts.

{S70 - SAVE_REQUEST} Information message at the end of a request call. If outbound calls are originated on the same lines as requests, you may want to add a reminder to "hang up the line now", at the end of this message.

26	To receive this information you must provide a fax telephone number.

{S62 - PLAY_NO_INBOUND} Rejects a document selection, when $onlycallback has been specified in the IIF.

27	Please hang up if you are not calling from your fax machine, since only fax calls are being handled at this time.

{S47 - PLAY_FAX_ONLY} Information message at the start of a call when onecall but not request has been specified in the $user_op command in the user profile (or when no $user_op command has been used and only onecall operation mode is valid for the line).

28	Sorry, we are unable to schedule your request at this time, please call us and report this problem.

{S70 - SAVE_REQUEST} Information message when CopiaFacts is unable to save a request (e.g. out of disk space, network down, system improperly configured, etc.).

29	Welcome to Copia's CopiaFacts fax mail system.

{S78 - MAIL_GREET / S183 - RECEIVE_GREET} Greeting message played when CopiaFacts answers a call, for fax mail operations. For fax mail receive operations, this message is skipped if the mail box number has been set using $auto_call in the user profile, or if no voice file exists for this message. This file is delivered with filename SVP29FULL so defaults to being skipped.

30	Please enter your mail box number.

{S79 - DO_MAIL_BOX} Asks the caller for a mail box number, when the mail box number has not been set using $auto_call in the user profile.

31	Sorry, the mail box number you entered is invalid.

{S79 - DO_MAIL_BOX / S82 - INVALID_MAIL_BOX} Rejects the entered mail box number, if the mail box is not found or invalid.

32	Press one if the mail box number is correct, or zero if it is not.

{S84 - DO_MAIL_OK} Asks for confirmation of the entered mail box number, after speaking the digits back to the caller.

33	The mail box you reached is not accepting mail at this time.

{S185 - INVALID_RCV_BOX} Rejects the mail box number, if mail operations are suspended or not scheduled. The message is skipped if no voice file exists for the message.

34	Press the start button on your fax machine at the sound of the beep.

{S89 - RECEIVE_MAIL / S149 - RECEIVE_FAX_RMT} Prompts the caller to start the remote fax machine to send their fax mail. The message is skipped if no voice file exists for the message. This file is delivered with filename SVP34FULL so defaults to being skipped.

35	You have no fax messages at this time.

{S102 - PLAY_NO_MAIL} Information message reporting to the fax mail box owner that there are no fax mail documents waiting to be collected.

36	Please enter the number of the fax machine where you want your messages delivered. Press the # key if you are calling from a fax machine and wish to receive your messages on this call. Press 0 if you wish to have your fax mail sent to your regular fax number.

{S100 - DO_MAIL_FAX} Asks the caller for the transmission method (one-call or callback), when retrieve has been specified in the $user_op command in the user profile (or when no $user_op command has been used and this operation mode is valid for the line). If pickup is not a also valid operation for the line, then an entry of # will be rejected.

37	Press 1 if the fax number you selected is correct or 0 if it is incorrect.

{S100 - DO_MAIL_FAX} Asks for confirmation of the fax telephone number to which CopiaFacts will send retrieved fax mail, after speaking the digits back to the caller.

38	Your fax messages are on their way. Thank you for calling CopiaFacts.

{S70 - SAVE_REQUEST} Information message at the end of a fax mail retrieve call. If fax mail delivery calls are originated on the same lines as retrieval requests, you may want to add a reminder to "hang up the line now", at the end of this message.

39	Please enter your credit card number and expiration date. We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

{S106 - DO_CARDNO} Asks the caller to enter a credit card number and expiration date all in one entry. If SVP 65through SVP 67 are present, these messages are used instead of SVP 39 to SVP 41 to allow separate entry of number, month and year. If the credit card option is not installed or no images with a cost have been selected, this message is skipped. This message may either be played automatically at the end of a call or when $validate credit_card has been specified in a $type question infobox.

40	Press 1 if the credit card number you entered is correct or 0 if it is incorrect.

Asks for confirmation of the credit card number and expiry date, after speaking the digits back to the caller. The confirmation playback of the entered card number is currently disabled, so this message is not in use.

41	The credit card number you entered is incorrect, expired, or not one of the credit cards we accept.

{S106 - DO_CARDNO} Rejects the entered credit card number and expiry date.

42	Your order is being processed and will be delivered as soon as possible. Thank you for using CopiaFacts.

{S70 - SAVE_REQUEST} Information message at the end of a request call involving a credit card charge. If outbound calls are originated on the same lines as requests, you may want to add a reminder to "hang up the line now", at the end of this message.

43	Please enter the telephone extension of your service.

{S114 - DO_SOFT_DID} Greeting message, when Software DID (SDID) is enabled for the line. If SVP 73 is defined, it is played once, before this message 43. If an invalid extension is selected, SVP 73 is not replayed, but SVP 43 is repeated.

44	The phone extension you entered is invalid.

{S116 - BAD_EXTENSION} Rejects the SDID number entry, when the corresponding numbered USR file can not be found or is invalid.

45	Sorry, but we are unable to detect any touch tones. Please set your fax machine to produce touch tones and retry. If you continue to have further difficulty please call us.

{S122 - PROBLEM_CALL} Information message played when the retry count specified on a $repeat_msg command has been reached.

46	Please enter the number of the image you wish to update.

{S123 - DO_RMT_IMAGE} Asks for a document number to be updated, after the caller has entered the special remote image update number specified on the $update_image command in the user profile.

47	The image number you entered cannot be updated or added to the database.

{S123 - DO_RMT_IMAGE} Rejects the remote image update document number, when it is not a suitable infobox for remote update (e.g. menu infobox, question box, etc.).

48	The image number you entered is not in the database. Press 1 if you wish to add the image or press 0 if you wish to select a different image.

{S127 - DO_ADD_OK} Information message indicating that the remote image update document is not already in the database.

49	Please enter the update access password for this image.

{S130 - DO_RMT_PWD} Asks the caller for a remote image update password to be matched against that specified on the $image_update command in the IIF.

50	The update access password you entered was incorrect.

{S130 - DO_RMT_PWD} Rejects the entered remote image update password as not matching the specification on the $image_update command in the IIF.

51	Press 1 if you wish to update the voice description for this image. Press 0 if you do not want to change the description.

{S137 - DO_RECORD_RMT} Asks the caller to specify if the document voice description is to be updated in a remote image update operation.

52	At the sound of the beep you may begin recording the new image description. Press any key on your touch-tone pad when you are done recording.

{S139 - PLAY_RECORD_RMT} Prompts for a new document voice description in a remote image update operation.

53	Press 1 if the recorded description is correct. Otherwise press 0 to rerecord the description.

{S144 - DO_REPEAT_OK} Asks for confirmation of the document voice description in a remote image update operation, after playing it to the caller.

54	Press 1 if you wish to update the fax pages of the image you selected. Press 0 to skip the fax update and to select another image for update.

{S146 - DO_FAX_RMT} Asks the caller to specify if the document fax pages are to be updated in a remote image update operation.

55	Press 1 if the image you selected is the one you want to update. Press 0 to select a different image.

{S134 - DO_RMT_OK} Asks for confirmation of the selected document number, after speaking the document description or the digits of the document number back to the caller.

56	Place the documents for the image you wish to update in the tray. Do not include a cover sheet.

{S148 - START_FAX_RMT} Prompts the caller to prepare a fax transmission into the CopiaFacts system.

57	Press 1 if you want to hear the new description you just recorded. Press 0 if you wish to accept the description without hearing it.

{S141 - DO_REPEAT_RMT} Asks for confirmation of the new document voice description in a remote image update operation, after playing it to the caller.

58	Thank you for calling.

{S157 - GOOD_BYE} Goodbye message played when no other closing information is appropriate, e.g. when no documents have been selected, or no fax mail is available. The message is skipped if no voice file exists for the message. This message is also played at the end of a voice broadcast call, for which you will need to record a different message, since it was CopiaFacts that placed the call.

59	If your entry is correct please press 1, to re-enter press 0.

{S158 - QUESTION_START} Asks for confirmation of a question box entry made as a result of a $get_var command in a $type question infobox, when not overridden by a $confirm_desc entry in the IIF.

Press 4 for the previous message, 5 to repeat the current message, 6 for the next message, 7 for your first message, 8 to delete the current message, 9 for your last message, 0 to end message playback; or press 1 to select a message by call number, 2 to hear the call number of the current message, or 3 to backspace during the playing of the message.

{S168 - VMSG_DO_OP} Asks the caller to select a voice message, after transferring to voice message retrieval using the special number specified on a $playback command in the user profile, or from a $type playback IIF. The backspace is set as 5 seconds. The playback sequence starts with the earliest message unless system variable VMAIL_START has been assigned a value of last. In this case you may need to modify the message text to avoid the ambiguity of "next": for example after hearing the latest recorded message first, the caller will need to press 4 to hear the "next" (but earlier recorded) message.

61	You have no messages.

{S175 - VMSG_FIND_MSG / S176 - VMSG_PLAY_MSG} Information message indicating that there are no messages in the voice message directory.

62	You have no earlier messages.

{S176 - VMSG_PLAY_MSG} Information message indicating that there are no earlier messages in the voice message directory, after the caller has keyed 7 or 4 in response to standard voice prompt 60.

If standard voice prompts 65 to 67 are present, these messages are used instead of standard voice prompts 39 to 41 to allow separate entry of number, month and year. This message may either be played automatically at the end of a call or when $validate credit_card has been specified in a $type question infobox.

{S142 - PLAY_FAX} Asks the recipient to switch the call to a fax machine. Played immediately before sending a fax (Dialogic VFX/40 only). The message is not played if the call has been answered by a fax tone, and terminates as soon as a fax tone is heard.
