Specify Fax Channel to be Used (Transmit)
$fax_send_channel chan
$fax_send_line chan
This command specifies that a particular outgoing channel or channel group is to be used for this call. The two command names are synonymous.
For a fax-on-demand callback, CopiaFacts generates this command in the FS file if the Y option is used on the $callback configuration command to force transmitted to be made on the same channel as the request. Otherwise, and in a user-generated or broadcast FS file, this command overrides any $fax_send_line command in the user profile.
 | Warning: using $fax_send_line commands very often results in severe performance degradation. This is because FS files are picked up for processing even if the specified channels are busy, and then have to be discarded. The result is an under-utilization of outbound resources. If possible use different TOSEND queues, not $fax_send_line to specify special processing, and enable the queues on specific COPIAFACTS instances. |
The parameters on this command are used as follows:

Variables are ONLY expanded on the chan parameter when an environment variable FSLMACRO has a non-empty value. The variables must either be system variables or must be control variables defined in the FS file. User profile variables are not available at the time the send channel is determined. Variables on this command are expanded each time the FS file is processed, not (as with other FS commands) when the FS file is first loaded.
Default: any channel configured for outbound may be used.

$fax_send_channel BC1,BC2 ; use two channel groups defined in CFG
$fax_send_channel 1-6 31-60 ; limit to first six fax channels and second E1 board
