To handle a change of IP address on a node running BladeWare, configuration modifications must be made both in BladeWare and CopiaFacts. The following steps are needed:
.Shut down the COPIAFACTS program.
.Stop the BladeWare service (net stop bladeware).
.Set to Manual Start the BladeWare service, and the COPIAFACTS service CFESERVICE if in use. Disable the startup of COPIAFACTS in STARTCOPIA if COPIAFACTS runs in desktop mode.
.Implement the IP address changes on the node, re-boot and check that the network connections are correct and operational. Do not start COPIAFACTS or allow it to start automatically.
.Run OTFCONFIG and make the changes on the Protocols tab in the SIP Address and Media Address fields. Right-clicking in these fields will show the available (changed) IP addresses for selection. Then press Update Profile.
.Run EMSETUP and verify that the IP addresses are correct, if a mailserver is in use and has also changed its IP address.
.Set the BladeWare service to Automatic Start. If COPIAFACTS is run as a service, reset the startup mode for CFESERVICE to Delayed Autostart. If STARTCOPIA is used to start COPIAFACTS in desktop mode, re-enable this in STARTCOPIA.
.Reboot the machine and check that everything is working.
