CopiaFacts uses a number of temporary folders, most of which have both default locations and override locations. Other than the CALLBACK\TEMP folder, most of the folders are best located on a local drive, although this may not be the default location.
Folder accessible to multiple nodes
The folder \\COPIA\FAXFACTS\CALLBACK\TEMP is used for common temporary files such as those created by the Document Converter. There is no override other than the ability to relocate the entire CALLBACK folder using $request_dir.
Default LOCAL temporary folder
The folder C:\FAXTEMP is created automatically for new installs unless a different folder is specified in the SERCONF initial server configuration program. SERCONF also adds an entry in the FAXFACTS.CFG file:
$local_temp * C:\FAXTEMP
We recommend that the same local folder path should be used on all machines, but for special purposes you can use additional $local_temp commands to override the name on different machines.
