Symptoms:
The COPIAFACTS trace shows rejecteding incoming fax calls
Actions:
Check in CFHWL that channels in the node are configured for receiving faxes.
Check the Channel Schedules tab in COPIAFACTS to ensure that the inbound channels are enabled for the correct time ranges.
If you have enabled the DNIS and ANI display in the trace file by checking Debug DTMF in the COPIAFACTS debug options tab then locate a call for the destination DNIS or ANI that rejects faxes, Check whether there is a numbered USR/MBX pair of files corresponding to the DNIS and whether the options are set correctly in CFCLIENTADMIN for the affected DNIS. If there is no obvious problem, collect the COPIAFACTS trace and the USR and MBX and send the files to Copia Support. If you are using an lookup file instead of multiple USR/MBX pairs the trace file may be sufficient to show the problem.
Also check whether the affected DNIS is shown in a do-not-answer file if you use one.
If the failures are shown as resulting from fax negotiation or timeout errors, then it will be necessary to shut down COPIAFACTS temporarily and obtain a SIP log:
For BladeWare, run OTFCONFIG, and select the TestRcv operation. If this also fails, a PCAP log containing a test incoming fax will be needed - please send this to Copia with the COPIAFACTS trace file showing no inbound call.
For XCAPI, run XCTEST, and select the recieve fax operation. If this also fails, an XCT trace containing a test incoming fax will be needed - please send this to Copia with the COPIAFACTS trace file showing no inbound call.
